Me and my wife had some porters in front of the television tonight. Its nice that it is at least one kind of beer we both like. She dislike the Belgos I drink and I can't stand those terrible British stouts she use to prefer. Anyways, this is what we had:
Nils Oscar Rökporter
Sweden
ABV: 5.9%
Rating: 4
This is a very fine and smokey porter. It is rich in flavours with distinct chocolate and coffee but unfortunately it doesn't leave that much of an aftertaste. A great porter but far from the best.
Ocean Göteborgsporter

Sweden
ABV: 5%
Rating: 3
A standard well-rounded porter but a little too thin for me. Similar tastes of chocolate and coffee as Nils Oscar Rökporter but not as powerful. Really nothing more to be said.
