A very interesting beer. As Port Brewing's own description of it says it's hard to tell exactly what kind of beer it is. Somewhere between porter and ale is what I would say but isn't really a fair description. It has some nice notes of coffee and chocolate but the heavy alcohol and acid-taste is not my cup of tea. Interesting but nothing I will buy again.

This is a standard Belgian dubbel. Nothing extra, pretty sweet and with a good aftertaste. There are several dubbels that are much better but this is a cheap and good beer for everyday use.
